Aside from film production, Mursal continues to improve her acting skills through mentorship, classes and workshops. She was cast as the lead in “The Layover” which won multiple awards at the Toronto Independent Film Festival in 2016. In fact, it was so successful it is currently in pre-production to be filmed post-COVID with Mursal continuing on as the lead character, Zoe.
In her spare time, Mursal dabbled in social media video blogging (‘vlogging’) related to art, cuisine and fashion through “Urbn Talk TV.” She served as the co-executive producer for this hub of highly interactive, curate content that linked the consumer to the world of aesthetic design.
A true artist, Mursal has also worked both World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week as well as Toronto Mens Fashion Week, serving as the Director of Model Relations.
