Growing up Saba Rawjani was always surrounded by a variety of art and music, learning about her Pakistani heritage and it's cultural and artistic forms from her parents who immigrated from there in the late 90's. From a very young age Saba began training in Indian classical / Qawwali music. After a few years of training from several Ustaads, Saba and her brother Danyal started their own band called Sur & Sangeet. Sur & Sangeet performed at numerous Jamati events and shows across Canada. She then continued to train further, attending Canterbury High School where she specialized in Western Classical voice and music. Saba also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Carleton University, but this did not stop her from continuing to pursue her musical interests. During this time Saba opened shows for Adnan Sami and Mohit Chauhan, as well as performed with Salim-Sulaiman.

Saba has had opportunities to perform in front of the Right Honorable Stephen Harper in the presence of Mawlana Hazar Imam during the Announcement of Human Development partnership and at the opening of the Aga Khan museum in Toronto. Prior to the commencement of the Diamond Jubilee, Saba was involved in several artistic initiatives within the global Ismaili community, collaborating on pieces like "Aaya Mawlana" and "One Jamat". She was one of the lead singers for "Dhoom Dharaka" which became the Jubilee Arts theme song. During the Jubilee Arts Festival in Portugal Saba performed the theme song with fellow musicians and vocalists at the Jubilee Festival nightly in front of crowds of over 15,000, which included several members of Mawlana Hazar Imam's family who attended as special guests. Thereafter, Saba was part of Rihla, a touring production that performed across Canada to share the journey of our Canadian Ismaili History.

Today, Saba lives in New York City where she is pursuing a double masters degree program at Columbia University completing her MBA/MPH. She is determined to continue her passion for music while she also explores her professional interests in healthcare. Saba regularly collaborates with Ismaili artists from across the world and has been working on a variety of musical projects. With her unique vocal range and interest in Sufi / Qawwali and devotional music, singing will always be deeply rooted in who she is, and remain as a form of expression she will use in order to navigate and learn more about the world.
