SheLeads: Mahin Rashid

Mahin Rashid excels at asking thoughtful and probing questions that propel the conversation and yield interesting insights. She creates a safe environment for inquiry and the exploration of differing points of view, which is critical in all societies.

Mahin currently influences change in one of her local community's most engaged and progressive corporate participants - Vancity Credit Union. As Director of Business Planning, Performance, and Internal Communications, she works directly with the organization's senior executives, to drive strategy and engagement.

Mahin also contributes her expertise in a voluntary capacity. She is currently a board member for the Vancouver Community College, as well as a circle member with Rainbow Refugee which supports persecuted individuals seeking safety in Canada. Her previous community engagements include volunteering with Friends of the Vancouver Public Library, the Vancouver Foundation, and at Downtown Jamatkhana. Mahin looks forward to continuing to serve in various capacities.
