Munira Premji (Moderator) is a Cancer Warrior, who battled three advanced cancers in a 5 year period. Professionally, Munira is a Human Resources Practitioner, an Accredited Coach and a Training & Development expert. She is also the author of “Choosing Hope: 1 Woman. 3 Cancers” which was one of CBC’s 40 works of Canadian nonfiction to watch for in the Spring of 2020.
Dr. Sunil Varghese serves as the Chair for Aga Khan Health Board, Ottawa Region. He practices as an Infectious Diseases Physician and is the Chief and Medical Director of the Department of Medicine at a local community hospital. Originally from Calgary, Sunil now calls Ottawa home with his amazing wife and their three wonderful children.
Dr. Anisha Lakhani earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of British Columbia and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Washington. She has over 30 years of experience in clinical pharmacy in the acute care and ambulatory care settings with a special interest in research and academics. Anisha currently resides in Vancouver and is an instructor at UBC.
