Positive and Practical Approaches to Islamophobia

Positive and Practical Approaches to Islamophobia

Have you or someone you know experienced some form of ethnic or cultural resentment or hostility?
As a follow up to A Path to Understanding: A Multi-Faith Response to Islamophobia, held at the Ismaili Centre Burnaby last October, we are pleased to be hosting an event on the Positive and Practical Approaches to Islamophobia. This event will focus on practical and positive actions we can take to dispel hate crimes, exploring approaches and best practices used for individuals who have been impacted by Islamophobia.

The discussion will be led by experienced professionals who engage in combatting Islamophobia on a daily basis, as well as discuss the success of the Islamophobia hotline. The evening will also include a moderated panel discussion as well as opportunity for Q&A. All members of the community are welcome.
