Stories of Our Wise: Story Submission Form

Stories of Our Wise aims to capture the incredible stories and life journeys of our Canadian Ismaili seniors from diverse backgrounds. Each week, we will be highlighting a new story of a senior from across the country. We encourage all individuals, particularly youth, to have these meaningful conversations with their loved ones, and contribute their stories to this collection. Seniors are our lenses into our past and heritage, and exploring stories from some of our own may help us to understand who we are and where we have come from.

Here is a short summary of the process for submitting a story: 

• Step 1: Fill out this form to suggest a story about a senior.  
• Step 2: The senior will be contacted by one of our team members, who will ask the senior for their consent to have their story shared. 
• Step 3: Storytelling! The senior, a family member, or a loved one can write the story, or someone from our team can contact the senior to collect and write the story. 
• Step 4: Submit the story for selection process and editing. 
• Step 5: Selected stories will be published in the Digital Al-Akhbar, as well as on iiCanada website and regional The Ismaili social media.
