The Canadian Jamati Survey collects up-to-date data on the status of the Jamat. Information collected helps plan and deliver programs and services for the Jamat.
What is the Canadian Jamati Survey?
The Canadian Jamati Survey collects information from our Jamat about family, health, accommodation/living conditions, finances and education. It aims to capture information from all segments of the Jamat regardless of their living arrangements, whether they are families, seniors living on their own, students living in a shared space, or other arrangements.
How Will the Information be Used?
- Provide reports to Mawlana Hazar Imam on the status of the Canadian Jamat
- Plan for programs and services that meet the needs of the Jamat
- Provide a benchmark of the overall Jamat against which progress can be measured
- Help anticipate the needs of the Jamat and ensure a strong and vibrant community in the future
- If you registered for iKey as the head of your household during the recent Burial Program campaign, you will have received an email sometime between December 14-17 from the Aga Khan Council for Canada with a personal link to the survey. Click on the link in the email to access the survey.
- If you do not receive an email, or if you did not register for iKey (facilitated via the Burial Program), you can access the survey directly by clicking on 'Take the Survey' below.
Why does it ask for my phone number or email?
If you access the survey directly (#2 above), you will be asked for a phone number and email address. This information is used to enable volunteers to follow up with reminders for Jamati members households who may not have completed the survey. Your contact information will be deleted once the survey exercise is complete.
Who can I ask for help?
If you would like assistance in completing the survey, please contact the ACCESS line at 1-888-536-3599.
