Employment Opportunity: Finance Manager, Generations, Calgary
Generations: Multi-Generational Housing and Community Centre is a supportive living and long-term care centre housing 120 seniors. It also has an early childhood development centre and day programs and facilities for non-resident seniors.
A Finance Manager is needed to lead and manage all financial transactions for the Centre. The Manager will work closely with the site manager and the volunteer accounting team. As an organization that is at the forefront of leading trends in healthy and active aging, this is an exciting opportunity to build a solid foundation for the applicant.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting and budgeting functions for the organization. They will be managing financial processes, as well as overseeing and executing accounting activities. To be successful in this role, candidates need previous experience with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting systems. The Finance Manager needs to be a self-starter, who can take ownership and improve existing finance processes, management reporting, and set-up systems effectively.
