Culinary Capers with Chef Ali: Kadahi Chicken and Skillet Naan

No Yeast Skillet Naan:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (can sub 1 cup whole wheat if desired)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup plain yoghurt (cook's choice)
- 1/2 water + more if needed
- 1 Tbsp oil (grapeseed or sunflower is great!)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- butter and chopped cilantro
Easy Kadahi Chicken:
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 Tbsp oil (grapeseed or sunflower is great!)
- 2/3 chopped onions (yellow)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp minced ginger
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili or kashmiri spice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 whole chicken (2 lb) or bone-in chicken of your choice
- 3 cups chopped tomatoes or 3 cups whole canned tomatoes
