Bell Let’s Talk Day
Bell Let’s Talk Day is an annual initiative that supports various mental health programs. Their four key areas include: providing support services, combating stigma, investing in research, and promoting workplace mental health.
On Wednesday, January 26, Bell will donate to mental health initiatives by contributing 5 cents for each of these actions:
- For Bell wireless users: sending a text message or making a phone call
- Tweet or retweet using #BellLetsTalk
- Watch the official Bell Let’s Talk video on social media or YouTube
- Use the Bell Let’s Talk Facebook frame
- Use the Bell Let’s Talk Snapchat lens
- Upload a TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk
Bell Let’s Talk Day also serves as a reminder for us to focus on our own mental health and practice self-care. Try some of these methods:
- Journal about your feelings
- Go for a walk
- Practice meditation
- Try deep breathing exercises
- Limit screen time as much as possible
- Talk to a therapist
