It's Okay To Not Be Okay

May 6, 2021 | Northeast Ontario

It is okay to not be okay. Speaking with each other about mental health and seeking support early can help us increase dialogue and reduce stigma. You are not alone.

If you are concerned about your mental health or a loved one, contact your health care provider or access a number of local resources.

If you are in crisis, contact the Mental Health Crisis Line (24 hours a day/7 days a week) at 1-866-996-0991.

If you are a youth or have a youth in crisis, contact the Youth Services Crisis Line (24 hours a day/7 days a week) at 1-877-377-7775.

If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please call 911.

Visit the Ottawa Public Health website for a list of local resources and the Mental Health Awareness Week site for additional resources to support our mental health.
