Future Ready Initiative: Volunteer to be a Family Navigator
Are you in a field related to social work or health sciences? Get involved with the Future Ready Initiative as a Family Navigator.
As a role model, you will be empowering individuals to reach their potential by sharing your time and knowledge. Family Navigators will offer extensive, direct, one-to-one support to build a plan and identify resources for families and individuals. They will help their mentees navigate systems and empower them to receive necessary supports.
Family Navigators can be based anywhere in Canada and will report to the Family Mentorship National Lead. This is a one-year commitment, and candidates must undergo a background check - the Vulnerable Police Reference Check Clearance / the Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS). Candidates must be registered with their regulatory/licensing body. Fluency in speaking/writing both English and French is an asset.
For more information and to apply, please see the Opportunities to Serve, as well as the brochure.
