This week we are privileged to be joined by Vazir Shams G. Vellani, who has served within the Imamat Institutions for many decades and in various capacities. He currently oversees special studies at the Institute of Ismaili Studies, tackling unique issues which have a bearing on the interface between Islam and society. Host Alwaeza Fawziah Bhatia engages in conversation with Vazir Shams to discuss his recent book "People of Faith - Essays on a Historical and Contemporary Profile of the Ismailis" and on his personal journey in serving the Imam of the Time.

We are also pleased to feature an excerpt of the feature film A Century of Service, commemorating 100 years of the IVC and celebrating the tradition of service within the Ismaili Tariqah.
