Advance Care Planning Webinar
On Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00pm PST, the Caregiving Network is hosting a webinar for caregivers. The provide the following description: “Advance Care Planning (ACP) is a way for you to think, talk and plan for health care that is right for you before a crisis happens. ACP has been shown to reduce the anxiety and distress that can accompany living with serious illness, frailty and end of life for both the person with the illness and the family caregiver. Not only do people with illness report a better quality of living and greater satisfaction with care by engaging in their advance care planning, but families report a piece of mind and a decrease in caregiver stress.” The webinar will discuss the importance of advance care planning.
