The Jamati Services Fund: Articulating Our Values
In addition to supporting programs designed to meet the needs of the Jamat from early childhood to youth and seniors, the Jamati Services Fund makes possible events that build wider understanding and appreciation of the true values of Islam. The recent rise in anti-Muslim sentiment in response to acts of violence has highlighted the critical need for such initiatives.
Did you know that in 2015, the Jamati Services Fund supported:
Milad-un-Nabi celebrations with other communities of the Ummah
Canada Day at the Legislature, Eid at City Hall, Stampede Breakfast and CIVIC projects in which Ismaili youth contributed to local community initiatives
The publication of Ismaili Canada and its distribution to Jamati households as well as to government, community and business leaders
