The Tsunami Warning previously issued for coastal areas of British Columbia has been CANCELLED because additional information and analysis have better defined the threat. Continue to listen to instructions from local officials until the ALL CLEAR has been issued in your community.

Please do NOT call 911 for information on the tsunami warning. Check your local government’s websites and social media feeds for details specific to your community.

British Columbia, Southeast Alaska and South Alaska and the
Alaska Peninsula from The Wash./BC Border to Hinchinbrook
Entrance, Alaska (90 miles E of Seward)

* The Tsunami Watch is CANCELLED for the coastal areas of
California, Oregon and Washington from The Cal./Mexico
Border to The Wash./BC Border

* The Tsunami Warning is cancelled for the coastal areas of
South Alaska and the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands
from Chignik Bay, Alaska to Attu, Alaska

Tsunami Advisory in Effect for;

* SOUTH ALASKA AND THE ALASKA PENINSULA, Pacific coasts from
Hinchinbrook Entrance, Alaska (90 miles E of Seward) to
Chignik Bay, Alaska

For other US and Canadian Pacific coasts in North America, there is no tsunami threat.
