Celebrating Jamatkhanas - Our Place of Peace, Permanence and Perseverance

Jamatkhanas play a significant role in our lives by functioning as catalysts for our spiritual and material progress. As Jamatkhanas have evolved in Canada, the Edmonton and Red Deer Jamats have been fortunate to be blessed with permanent Jamatkhana facilities. Among them is Belle Rive Jamatkhana - the first purpose built Jamatkhana in Edmonton. March 2022 will mark the 25th anniversary of the opening of Belle Rive Jamatkhana. As we commemorate this historic milestone, we invite you on a journey of storytelling, celebration, and reflection over the next several months.

Stay tuned for regular updates on upcoming programming! If you have any questions, please contact the Council for Edmonton.
