Walk Week is just one month away! This year we have a special surprise in store:  register and fundraise at least $250 by Tuesday, May 31 to get a free Walk t-shirt. Designed by Arfie Lalani, a longtime Walk volunteer and participant, the t-shirt is the perfect way for you to literally wear your commitment on your sleeve during the week of Monday, June 13.

After two back-to-back fall virtual campaigns, the World Partnership Walk is back in-person! This year, we are inviting you to register, fundraise, and walk as a team or on your own during the week of June 13. Your walk might look different than our gatherings in years past, but whether you cap off your campaign with a walk around the block or in a park, office, or schoolyard, you will capture the essence of what the Walk has always been about: coming together to fight global poverty.

This Mother’s Day, the World Partnership Walk is shining a spotlight on the hardworking healthcare workers who keep pregnant women and their babies safe and healthy worldwide.

Sophiline, a radiographer from the coast of Kenya, helps track pregnancies and detect complications. The Walk supports programs that equip healthcare workers, like Sophiline, with the training and tools they need to detect issues early before they become emergencies.

We’re thrilled to announce our World Partnership Walk Giving Tuesday Match!

From Friday, November 26 to Tuesday, November 30, anonymous donors will generously match all funds raised online for the World Partnership Walk.

We have been travelling together from Pakistan to Tanzania, to discover how the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) is working with communities to alleviate poverty and respond to the pandemic. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to double your impact and help the AKFC continue its work when it’s needed the most.

Your support will contribute to the work of Aga Khan Foundation Canada for projects in Africa and Asia. These projects include, but are not limited to programs in health, which are adapting to prevent the spread of COVID-19, providing care for patients, and keeping healthcare workers safe.
