All Jamati members, including multi-faith family members, are invited to the first series of events called Empower Her, catering to women’s empowerment, creativity, wellness, and community-building. The first event will feature a discussion led by Zahra Rahim, Chief Information Officer with the Government of Canada, on being yourself and embracing change. Following the discussion, there will be a fun activity where we will collaborate on a colourful mural using geometric patterns. All supplies will be provided.

The first event will take place on Saturday, April 27, at 4:30 pm at Ottawa Headquarters Jamatkhana.

Tickets ($10) are available from volunteers seated in the foyer on Friday, April 26.

Refreshments will be served.
