Mind Matters- Embracing Wellness Together!

We’re excited to present Mental Heath Week, a series of engaging virtual sessions and content held from March 25 to 29, 2024! These sessions are open to all members of the Jamat, with special consideration for post-secondary students. See details below:

Monday March 25: Mental Health and Mindfulness (5:30 PST/6:30 MST/8:30 EST):
This session will share tips and techniques to combat stress and anxiety and will feature activities centered around mindfulness. Join us for a chance to unwind on a Monday!

Tuesday March 26: Mental Health and Inclusion (5:30 PST/6:30 MST/8:30 EST): 
This session will feature a youth speaker from Jack.org and will help you refresh your understanding of intersectionality and inclusion and how those impact our mental health. Come learn from a young leader’s experience in navigating their life through the intersection of community, personal identity and well-being. 

Wednesday March 27: Mental Health in the 21st Century (5:30 PST/6:30 MST/8:30 EST): 
This session will feature a discussion on how to navigate our lives and mental health in the context of today’s trends and challenges. Join us for an engaging discussion on mental health and how it is impacted by factors such as social media and substance use. 

Sessions will be ~60 minutes in duration.
