Volunteer Opportunity: Walk Day, World Partnership Walk
An initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest public movement to fight global poverty. Funds raised support AKFC’s programs in Africa and Asia to build strong, resilient communities and local institutions to sustain progress over the long-term.
Since 1985, this volunteer-led campaign has rallied support for global development by inspiring Canadians to act locally and fight poverty globally.
The Walk brings together individuals, organizations, and communities from all walks of life to collaborate, learn, and celebrate the power of collective impact. By volunteering for the Walk, you will play a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved while making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
If you are looking to contribute your skills, talent, and time to the fight against global poverty, join us by registering to volunteer for the 2024 World Partnership Walk Campaign in Montreal, Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Kitchener-Waterloo or Toronto.
