Re-opening of Montréal Headquarters, Laval, Brossard and Québec City Jamatkhanas
The Council for Québec and the Maritimes is pleased to advise the Jamat of the planned re-opening of the following Jamatkhanas for evening Jamati ceremonies, using a cautious and measured approach.
Opening Monday, May 24:
- Montréal Headquarters Jamatkhana
- Laval Jamatkhana
- Brossard Jamatkhana
Opening Friday, May 28:
- Québec City Jamatkhana
Jamatkhana capacity will initially be limited and will be adjusted as appropriate to the evolving circumstances.
If you have already registered to attend Jamatkhana through the Jamatkhana registration site, you do not need to take any further action - the registration system will inform you once a spot becomes available.
Only Jamati members with allocated spots will be able to attend Jamatkhana.
Please note that whether or not you have received a COVID vaccination, all those attending Jamatkhana will be required to:
- Wear a procedural mask at all times inside and outside Jamatkhana
- Keep a minimum 2-metre distance from others not in your household
- Sanitize hands frequently
- Avoid gathering in groups or socializing
