Are you curious about how to strengthen and enhance your communication with your adolescent children?
We warmly invite all parents and guardians of secondary students, including multi-faith and newly arrived families, to join us for a session on Saturday, May 11 from 4 - 6pm at the Burnaby Lake Jamatkhana Academic Learning Complex (ALC). The session will be facilitated by Ali Noormohamed on the topic of non-judgemental communication, based on the principles of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg at the Centre for Non-violent Communication.
Refreshments will be provided.
About the Facilitator:
A self-taught student of psychology and personal development, and an interlocutor of human dynamics, Ali has been studying and lecturing on the woes and triumphs of human thoughts, emotions and behaviour in Sweden over the last 7 years. He draws from both Eastern philosophy and Western scientific research to present findings and approaches that foster deeper connection to oneself and by extension, to those near, dear and even those we fear.
