Nursing Registration in Canada: Role of Provincial Regulatory Body, Part II

Description

Join us for the third segment in the five-part webinar series for Internationally Educated Nurses. This session, entitled “Nursing Registration in Canada: Role of Provincial Regulatory Body, Part II”, is a continuation of the previous session. Part I focused on how an individual’s nursing work experience is evaluated by assessment and regulatory bodies, as well as the purpose of bridging programs, stand-alone courses, and OSCE-type assessments.

Part II will focus on matters related to nursing practice and demonstration of English language proficiency. These, in addition to other key requirements, may coerce applicants to attempt their registration in other Canadian jurisdictions. Both opportunities as well as constraints that come with inter-provincial mobility will be discussed. Join Dr. Fauziya Ali,  Dr. Zubeida Ramji,  and moderator Rozina Somani, for this informative session.
