Eid ul-Fitr, the ‘Festival of breaking the fast’, marks the end of Ramadan, a time to offer gratitude and extend forgiveness and goodwill. Though we may not be able to gather in our finest cultural garb to offer thanks, exchange greetings, slip the niece a fiver and get our hands jalebi-sticky, we can still celebrate as a community.

This evening on Friday Night Reflections, we follow up a special Eid Mubarak message with host Ziyana Vasaya learning to make Kadahi Chicken and Skillet Naan with Chef Ali Jadavji. In Ultimate Mind Challenge: Post-Sec edition, some of our brightest young minds vie for trivia supremacy. And we end the evening with a classic music party featuring old favourites performed by the band Jawani. Living room raas optional.
