Izhaar: Parent Expressions - A Virtual Space for BUI Parents
Izhaar: Parent Expressions - A Virtual Space for BUI Parents
The Secondary Level Curriculum developed by the Institute of Ismaili Studies is an international, multilingual program in religious education and the humanities for the global Ismaili community. It introduces Ismaili youth to a modular program of education that examines Islam as both faith and civilization in world history and in contemporary times. The curriculum approaches the study of Islam in general, and the Shia Ismaili tradition specifically, from humanistic, civilizational and normative perspectives. Students are guided to explore aspects of Islam that relate to religion, ethics, thought and culture in Muslim societies and the Ismaili Tariqah within a broad educational framework.
The Prairies Bait-ul Ilm (BUI) team is pleased to launch "Izhaar: Parent Expressions" for parents of students in grades 7-12 of BUI. Izhaar is a virtual space for parents to have thoughtful discussions relating to the IIS secondary curriculum being taught to their children in BUI. Izhaar is open to parents of registered and non-registered BUI students.
