Reduced Capacity for Peel Region Jamatkhanas Effective Nov 9

November 8, 2020 | Toronto

In light of the recent significant increase of COVID-19 in the Peel region, the Peel Medical Officer of Health has imposed stricter safety measures, including for Places of Worship, in the Peel Region to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  As a result, capacity for Meadowvale and Mississauga Jamatkhanas will be reduced to 50 persons effective Monday, November 9.  Brampton Jamatkhana currently has a maximum capacity of 50, and will remain unaffected.

The Jamat is requested to continue to follow all safety measures, including wearing a clean mask at all times, practicing frequent hand sanitizing, and maintaining a 2-metre distance from all those who are not from your household.

The safety of the Jamat is paramount, and we thank the Jamat for their understanding and cooperation.
