Conciliation and Arbitration Board (CAB)
July 23, 2020 | Canada
The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting all of us in ways we never expected. Life appears to have changed dramatically, at least temporarily; we are being faced with significant new challenges, including health risks, financial losses, physical distancing requirements, stay-at-home orders, employment issues, remote learning for our children, etc. Navigating these matters can be stressful and stress often leads to conflict.
Conflict is a natural part of human life, but how we handle it makes all the difference in the world. Seeking resolution of conflict through the process of mediation has proven to help Jamati members suffering from the emotional and psychological stresses of a dispute to work together to find a path towards healing. The Conciliation and Arbitration Board (CAB) offers free, confidential mediation services to the Jamat and continues to remain available to assist Jamati members via both telephone and online mediation services during this time when face-to-face interaction is restricted.
If you are interested in seeking CAB’s help, please e-mail or call your regional CAB Chairperson today:
