The Federal Elections have been called for October 19.  The Council for Ontario encourages all eligible members of the Jamat to participate in this democratic process so as to help shape the future of our communities where we live. The Council also invites interested members of the Jamat who want to assist as volunteers in the electoral campaigns at the local level to sign up by clicking here or by calling 416-751-4001 ext. 636 by Thursday, October 1. The Council will assist in connecting Jamati members with various candidates who have requested the support of volunteers for their campaigns in areas where the Jamat resides.

You can vote in this federal election if you:

• are a Canadian citizen
• are at least 18 years old on election day
• can prove your identity and address
• are registered on the Voters List
