We would like to thank the Jamat for their tremendous cooperation during the first few weeks of the opening of the Ismaili Centre Toronto.  As a reminder, all tours must be booked using the online system. 

We encourage the Jamat to continue attending all Jamatkhanas in Ontario regularly and to enjoy the programming offered across the various Jamatkhana spaces.  The Ismaili Centre Toronto is an additional Jamatkhana space for the Jamat to enjoy and we encourage the Jamat to visit the Centre keeping in mind the following considerations and to plan their visit accordingly.  For the Ismaili Centre Toronto, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Jamatkhana attendance will be high.  The Centre also has a limited number of chairs available for the Jamat’s use. 

Tours of the Ismaili Centre Toronto

Jamati members who wish to receive a tour on both weekdays and weekends should continue to use the online booking system to book their tours.   Please note that both daytime and select evening tours are available. Jamati members who do not have access to the internet may contact their respective Jamati Mukhi/Kamadia Sahebs and Mukhiani/Kamadiani Sahebas for assistance. Car Pooling and Parking at the Ismaili Centre Toronto

We continue to encourage the Jamat to carpool to the Ismaili Centre Toronto to ensure that there is adequate parking available.  Keeping principles of safety in mind, the Jamat is asked to enter and exit the parkage garage cautiously while driving, keeping in mind pedestrians, including young children.  We also ask that you give yourself plenty of time to proceed from the parking garage to the Jamatkhana prayer hall.

Entering and Exiting the Ismaili Centre Toronto

We request that the Jamat follow the directions provided in previous communications and avoid making left turns into and out of the Ismaili Centre Toronto.  This option provides the least disruption and is the most optimal way to facilitate safe and easy access to the Centre. 

Maintaining Cleanliness at the Ismaili Centre Toronto and at the Park 

We strive to maintain a safe and clean environment at the Ismaili Centre Toronto.  We request the Jamat’s support and assistance in keeping the Centre and the Park clean in order to maintain the quality and stature of these important Canadian assets.
