We extend Mubaraki on the special occasion of the opening of the new Edmonton West Jamatkhana.  

The first day of evening ceremonies in the new Jamatkhana is scheduled for Friday, June 14. The Jamat is invited to a special opening program at 6:30 p.m. 

The Council for Edmonton also warmly welcomes Jamati and multi-faith family members, to attend the following celebratory events at the new West Jamatkhana: 

• Friday, June 14 after Jamati ceremonies - raas program 
• Sunday, June 23 at 3 pm - a devotional concert entitled Shukhrana (Gratitude) featuring local artists and led by Shabnam Merali. Please see the posters in Jamatkhana for more details on tickets and the event. Please note, the Saturday, June 22 evening showing is sold out.

This new Jamatkhana seamlessly integrates modern technology, sustainability, and accessibility features while maintaining the sanctity and purpose of a traditional Jamatkhana. The space boasts a state-of-the-art multipurpose room as well as outdoor gatherine space, to celebrate and learn together with the wider community as well as mark milestones in the lives of Jamati members.
