Cancer Screening Saves Lives
Cancer Screening Saves Lives
The Canadian Cancer Society has estimates that nearly 2 in 5 Canadians will develop cancer during their lifetime.
We invite the Jamat to join Dr. Saima Ali for a session on proactive cancer screening, and the available resources for support in BC. The session will specifically cover screening pathways for breast, lung, cervical, colon, prostate, and skin cancer.
Join us on Wednesday, July 3 at Burnaby Lake Jamatkhana at 8:30pm.
Recent studies indicate that lung, breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers are expected to remain the most commonly diagnosed cancers in Canada, excluding non-melanoma skin cancer.
Therefore, prevention efforts are crucial to minimizing cancer risk, and screening and early detection are key to more successful treatment outcomes.
