On arrival at the Venue or Alternate Parking Lot, follow the guidance of volunteers to park your vehicle.

Keep valuables out of your vehicle, such as personal electronics, tools, cash, and garage door openers. Always roll up your windows, close your sunroof and lock your doors.

With Imamat Day fast approaching, we are pleased to provide further information regarding Diamond Jubilee programs and planning. Please note that Diamond Jubilee booklets will be made available closer to Imamat Day and these will contain information on the Imamat Day program and the Venue where we will observe the Inauguration of the Diamond Jubilee as #OneJamat.

Family of other Faith Backgrounds Hospitality Suite - Parking Registration

A Hospitality Suite with WiFi, activities and refreshments will be available for family members and caregivers of other faith backgrounds during the July 11 festivities starting at 2:00 p.m. Parking has been made available next to the suite and families are requested to register here.

Please note that parking spaces are limited; there is only one spot available for each family. More details will be sent out by email closer to the date.

  • North Sector: Unionville and Willowdale
  • South Sector: Don Mills and East York
  • Southwest Sector: Kitchener


Dry Food Packing will take place at:

  • Gathia packing: Brampton and Meadowvale
  • Puri packing: Guelph
  • Cookies and Nan kathai packing: Richmond Hill
  • Dinner box assembly: Downtown & Pickering

Get Involved on Imamat Day 2017

When asked "Where were you on Imamat Day 2017?", what will your answer be?

The Diamond Jubilee marks one of THE biggest milestones in our history as a Jamat and for our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam; with it, comes a wonderful blessing for every one of us to get actively involved. Regardless of your previous involvement, this is an opportunity to create a lifetime of memories for you, your family, and your friends. We have opportunities for volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

 

How To Get Involved

If you haven't already registered in the National Volunteer Management System (VMS), please do so here - we promise it will take less than 2 minutes! Deadline to register is Tuesday, June 20.

If you have have already registered in VMS, then please update your preferences and indicate that you want to be involved specifically on Imamat Day with the VMS ID that was previously emailed to you. For any questions or if you need some help, please email us at volunteer.ontario@iicanada.net.
