On Thursday, May 16, the Deputy Mayor of Toronto, Ausma Malik, joined by Nora Cole and her team, visited the Aga Khan Museum, the Ismaili Centre Toronto, and the Aga Khan Park. The visit, hosted by leaders from the Council for Toronto, underscored the Ismaili community’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, reflecting the vibrant pluralist fabric of Toronto.

During the visit, the President of the Council for Toronto, Nimira Dhalwani, discussed issues pertinent to Torontonians, including the revitalization of the Aga Khan Park as well as increased engagement of Ismaili CIVIC in upcoming local initiatives.

We extend our deep appreciation to Mayor Chow, Deputy Mayor Malik, as well as their staff and teams, for their warm friendship and ongoing support for the initiatives of the Ismaili Imamat.
