Indian/Canadian singer-songwriter Farah Mitha is an exciting new voice in the modern music sphere. Her voice and style evoke a soulful world-pop sound, reminiscent of her many influences including, Michael Jackson, Sean Paul, Shreya Goshal, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, the multi-talented artist originally intended to become a doctor and earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Abruptly deciding not to follow the medical route, she instead chose to follow her dreams and passions of using music and art to bring light and positivity into a sometimes very dark world.

Farah’s career highlights include: winning the 2010 Anokhi Award for Most Promising Artist, winning the 2014 Urban Music Award for Best Pop Actsinging “Dream, Believe & Reach the Sky” with Salim-Sulaiman at the 2016 Jubilee Games in Dubai UAE, opening for Sean Paul’s 2016 Canadian tour, singing the Jubilee Arts theme song with Farhan Shah in Portugal in July 2018, starring in the 2018 Canadian tour of Rihla which also featured her original devotional song "Guide The Way" and being featured in an episode of FOX’s new hit TV show I Can See Your Voice S1E3.

Her mission as an artist is to use her platform and music towards the betterment of humanity by creating a world full of ‘Fireflies’ - people who shine as the brightest versions of themselves. Join Firefly World and become a Firefly by joining her at IAmFarahMitha.com
