Taabish is an award-winning designer practicing in Edmonton, operating in the realm of both residential and commercial interiors. She is inspired to create spaces that experiment with texture and Patterns. She often plays with a delicate balance between serene, neutral monochrome palettes and vibrant bursts of colour. Proportion, scale, and asymmetrical balance serve as her favoured instruments in crafting interiors that captivate and inspire. No two spaces she creates are alike and she loves the challenge of imbuing herself while also bringing her clients' dreams to life.
Wandering through galleries and immersing herself in museum exhibits sparked her fascination with the human experience. This propelled her towards the study of anthropology at the University of Alberta, where she sought to delve deeper into the findings of human behaviour, particularly concerning creativity, experimentation, and innovation.
Continuing her academic pursuit, Taabish ventured to Boston, Massachusetts, to undertake a Master's degree in interior design. Here, she crafted a thesis centred around the creation of environments conducive to learning, harnessing potential, and stimulating creative thought within communities.
Hospitality interiors are her passion, and now Taabish combines her background in anthropology and design, wherein each project she blends the complexities of human culture with innovative design solutions. She approaches her work with a commitment to storytelling and pushing the boundaries of conventional design, where every element harmonizes to evoke a memorable and immersive experience for patrons and guests alike.
