Princess Zahra Concludes Six-Day Visit to Pakistan
Covering more than a dozen projects across various districts and regions, Princess Zahra on Sunday, May 26, completed a whistle stop tour of northern Pakistan.
To conclude the visit, Princess Zahra, who was accompanied by her son Iliyan during the visit, attended a dinner hosted last night by the Jamati institutions in Pakistan. Performing artists from Gilgit, Hunza, and Chitral showcased their talents at the dinner, including the Coke Studio performer Natasha Baig.
Princess Zahra thanked the assembled leaders and acknowledged the important work being done by the institutions in Pakistan: “It's thanks to every single person in this system. Officially, unofficially. Unemployed. Volunteer. Donor. Friend. Every single person makes this network of agencies and institutions what it is,” she said.
“And so I just stand here as a representative of an ongoing vision. The vision that we're all following, His Highness' vision that has had such a huge impact… And I just want to say thank you.”
