Discovery (ages 6- 9)

This fun-filled and inspiring 2-week summer day program for Ismaili Muslim youth between the ages of 6-9 is geared towards reinforcing the ethics and values of the Shia Ismaili Muslim faith.  The program aims to help participants discover their potential and understanding through activities, discussions, role plays and sport.  Discovery will create lasting impressions on all participants as they learn about themselves and their role in the communities in which they live.

Job Description:

Directors will coordinate the Discovery Summer Program in conjunction with the Regional AKYSB team.  The Director will coordinate, execute and evaluate all aspects of the program.  The Director will also ensure that National curriculum and activities are implemented at the Regional level, and will work with a team of Counsellors and Counsellors-in-training to ensure a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants.
