Artist Bio (English):
I moved to Canada from Tanzania when I was five. I have taken pottery and photography lessons and attended the Ontario School of Art and Design. Being creative through painting, pottery, photography, drawing cartoon characters and even doodling is my way of connecting with the spirit and feeling happy. I encourage my children to explore their own creativity and spirituality through art, music and design to express their own uniqueness and individuality. Hazar Imam’s emphasis on the arts and culture in Islam has renewed my desire to resume my hobby. I am inspired by nature and hope to one day travel the world to capture the beauty that Allah has showered us with.
