Our Jamat has increasingly become the target of fraud. Detective Karim Bardai from York Region Police, an expert in fraud investigation, will be conducting a session on fraud prevention on Friday, May 22 at Scarborough Jamatkhana after Jamati ceremonies. Members of the Jamat are strongly encouraged to attend and learn how to protect themselves from fraudulent activities.

• T3s (investment income), T5007
• T5s (interest income)
• Safety deposit box fees receipt/statement
• Medical Expense receipts
• Investment transactions
• University & College students should bring their T2202A tuition certificate (Note: this will need to printed from your University/College website as they are no longer mailed)

The Communications and Financial Literacy Portfolio has organized a Wills and Estate Planning information session on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Don Mills Jamatkhana.  Following the presentation, lawyers will be on hand to complete a “Simple Will” at a nominal cost.  Appointments for preparing a will are required.
