Fear not – the Economic Planning Board Skills and Employment Portfolio will prepare you to make the best first impression! This workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Meadowvale Jamatkhana and will cover the areas of interview skills, resume writing and of course – dos and don’ts for your interview wardrobe. 1-on-1 mock interviews and resume critiquing will be provided. Please remember to bring a hard copy of your most up-to-date resume.

The Economic Planning Board is pleased to provide the following website links to various free tax clinics within our region for Jamati members that need help filing their income taxes for 2014. It is important to file your income taxes every year. The deadline for this year is April 30th, 2015

This service is for basic income tax filing and so as per Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Quebec guidelines these tax clinics can only offer this service to those that are at a certain income level or below. Contact your nearest service center for more details.

This event was hosted by Farah Nasser, anchor of CP24, and entrepreneurs received valuable, constructive feedback and answers to their burning business questions from our panel of experts, including Alkarim Nasser, Hussein K. Bawa, Reza Roohi and Salim Teja.
