Special Services At Home (SSAH):
This funding is for families who are caring for a child with a developmental or physical disability under the age of 18. It is funded and managed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and is designed to help families either for respite or help teach their child new skills and abilities. The amount of funding is dependant on the needs of the family and other support that is available in the community.

Passport Funding:
Passport Funding is for persons with a developmental disability over the age of 18 and residing in Ontario. The funding helps with their daily living and offer the primary caregiver some respite. Passport funding is provided by the government of Ontario through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) helps adults with developmental disabilities connect to services and supports in their communities.
Applications are prioritized and amount of funding is on a needs basis. Currently, there is a long wait for this funding, so it is recommended that families who need this funding start looking into this as soon as possible.

Assistive Devices Program:
This program helps individuals who have a long term physical disability and are residents of Ontario with a valid OHIP card, pay for equipment and supplies. The Program is not income based.
