Mawlana Hazar Imam will make a special and historic address to the Portuguese parliament on July 10. A video of the address will be shown in all Jamatkhanas after Jamati ceremonies.
We encourage all members of the Jamat as well as multi-faith family members to join us on Imamat Day for this most significant and historic occasion.

Join us in all Jamatkhanas for “Jubilee Gems: Performances by our Younger Jamat." There will also be a youth activity, raas, and a video presentation of Mawlana Hazar Imam's Silver Jubilee Visit to Canada. The viewing of the Silver Jubilee Visit video will be for Jamati members only.
As we continue to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee year, programs and celebrations have been planned and are ongoing until July 14 in Ontario. They include a devotional night, a venti night, mehndi, raas, dinner, cultural dancing, special prayers, and videos looking back on Mawlana Hazar Imam's 60 glorious years of Imamat.

Eid ul-Fitr is an occasion of peace, happiness, joy and festivity. Eid is a time to reflect on the values that guide each and every one of us and our faith - gratitude, compassion and generosity. And it is a reminder that these values of Islam are universal and bind us all in a common purpose, our shared commitment to the dignity of every human being.
This has been a truly historic year for the global Jamat. Today, as we celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan and as this memorable Diamond Jubilee year of our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam comes to a close, let us reaffirm our commitment to the ethics of our faith and the values we hold so dear, including tolerance, community building and supporting those who are isolated and who may need a hand extended in love and support.

Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, June 15. Eid Namaaz will be recited at 6:00 a.m. in all daily morning Jamatkhanas, and again at 9:00 a.m. at Don Mills, East York, Etobicoke, Headquarters, Scarborough, and Unionville Jamatkhanas. Refreshments will be served after Namaaz.
