Spectators will need to purchase an llume National Festival Pass for each day of the festival to access events. The Festival Pass is available for purchase at Aga Khan Museum either online or in-person. The Festival Pass will give spectators access to all festival events except the concert. Special discounted rates for families and members of the Aga Khan Museum.
A nominal entrance fee will be charged for attendees who only want to visit the National Visual Arts Gallery.
Please note that auditorium seating at the Aga Khan Museum is limited and seats for Film Festival screenings will need to be booked in advance and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Spectators will also need to purchase tickets to the special Illume 2023 concert on Saturday November 11 at the Aga Khan Museum. Tickets are limited and will be available for sale shortly.

For participants, be sure to download The Ismaili app and login to your Illume registration profile to access your schedules and cohort information. The Ismaili App is available to download for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

If you lost an item, first check the main Lost & Found at the venue's Illume Help Desk. Volunteers there can also tell you if any venues have separate Lost & Founds run by their staff. Retrace your steps and ask at places you visited - between all of us, we'll help reunite you with your lost belongings!
No problem, you're welcome to have your friend's parents serve as your adult guardians for the festival weekend! They'll be responsible for your care and wellbeing throughout the event.
Please note minors must maintain a 3:1 ratio with guardians, and guardians must stay in the same room as their minors. Have an amazing time together!
Sadly, our furry friends are not allowed inside the Festival sites of the the Ismaili Centre Toronto and Aga Khan Museum, with the exception of service animals. All service animals must be wearing a vest.

** Visual artists are welcome to bring their piece with them to Toronto themselves if desired. If the piece requires shipping to Toronto, artists will be provided packaging instructions and all pieces from our region will be shipped from a central location. There is a field within the national registration for artists to provide sizing information to aid with shipping and curation of the gallery.
Please be aware that transportation to/from Toronto, as well as hotel accommodation are not included in the registration fee.
For visual arts, a picture of your finished artwork needs to be submitted within a week of the July 15 registration deadline. Files should be uploaded by midnight on July 22. Then bring your masterpiece to display at the regional gallery event happening in your area - be sure to watch for announcements on dates and locations!
For films, please submit your final cinematic gem by the registration cutoff on August 31. Time to put those directing skills to work!

Once the clock strikes 11:59pm PST, you must have uploaded your submissions for the visual arts (July 15) and film festival (August 31).
We are currently crossing the t's and dotting the i's. Check back regularly to view the final rosters of athletes and artists heading to Hamilton.
If you need to exchange your partiicipant t-shirt, please visit the registration desk at one of the festival venues. Our volunteers will do our best to find you the right size, should it be available.

Details of your travel plans will be collected during the National Registration process. If there is a change to your travel plans, please let your concierge know and share updated details.

During the Festival, transportation will be provided to artists, including minors with guardians, between the Pan Pacific Hotel only and festival venues of Ismaili Centre Toronto and Aga Khan Museum. We will try to accommodate any additional family members traveling between venues if there is excess capacity on shuttles.
We know that many artists have family and friends in the Toronto area who you may want to stay with. For those who would prefer hotel accommodations in Toronto, a special Illume rate of $179 + tax per night has been secured at the prestigious Pan Pacific Hotel if booked before Friday, October 6. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Ismaili Centre and Aga Khan Museum and can be booked by emailing rashida@globextravel.com directly and providing your travel details.
