We want to make your festival experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Shuttle busses will be continuously running between venues all weekend long.
When completing your online registration, be sure to enter your arrival and departure details to secure a spot on one of our shuttles. We will greet you upon arrival to Hamilton and support your transport needs until you depart!
To request a pick-up from the Hamilton International Airport or Hamilton GO Centre, email us at illume.transportation@iicanada.net or call the Illlume Transport Control Centre at 647-530-4348. Please do not text message us as these requests will not be monitored.
Our hospitality team is delighted to transport athletes, artists, coaches and family members from Hamilton International Airport to McMaster University.
Airport shuttles will be operating from 12:00am to 2:00am and from 12:00pm to 8:00 PM on Thursday August 2 and Friday August 3 and will run every 30 minutes.
Illume shuttles will be available from Friday to Monday to take you from the Hamilton GO Centre to Mohawk College and McMaster University
Shuttles will run between festival venues on the following schedule:
- McMaster to Hidden Lake – Depart 7:30am & 9:30am – Return 3:30pm & 5:30pm
- McMaster to Confederation Park – 7:00am - 10:00pm (Every 25mins)
- McMaster Loop 1 – McMaster > Mohawk > Hillfield > Chedoke > McMaster – 12:00pm - 9:00pm (Every 15mins)
- McMaster to Hidden Lake – Depart 7:30am & 9:30am – Return 3:30pm & 5:30pm
- McMaster to Confederation Park – 6:30am - 10:00pm (Every 25mins)
- McMaster Loop 1 – McMaster > Mohawk > Hillfield > Chedoke > McMaster – 7:00am - 12:00am (Every 15mins)
- McMaster Loop 2 – McMaster > Chedoke > Hillfield > Mohawk > McMaster – 7:00am - 11:00pm (Every 15mins)
- McMaster to Hidden Lake – Depart 7:30am & 9:30am – Return 5:30pm
- McMaster to Confederation Park – 6:30am - 10:00pm (Every 25mins)

McMaster University

Rates are $6.00 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $20.00. For registration, lots B, C or D will be complimentary for the first 30 minutes.
Aug 4 @ 4:00PM - Aug 7 @ 11:00AM:
Parking will be complimentary at a number of lots. Please follow the instructions provided by parking volunteers.
Mohawk College
Parking is complimentary. However cars must be registered with an electronic parking pass. Go to: —► ► Select “Illume 2023” ► Choose permit type
Aug 4 @ 7:00AM - Aug 6 @ 11:00PM: Lots P5, P6, P7, P8 and P9 are available
Aug 4 @ 4:30PM - Aug 6 @ 11:00PM: Lots P1, P2 and P4 are available
For Spectators, park in P5, P6, P8, & P9.

Ample complimentary parking spaces are available at each of the sites.
Please follow the parking rules at all locations. Any vehicles in parking illegally or parking in non-designated spots will be towed. Please contact the city or venues directly if your vehicle is towed.
