Embracing the spirit of collaboration and excellence, McMaster University and Mohawk College will proudly serve as the primary venues from August 4-7, offering state-of-the-art facilities and providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration of sports, arts, and inspiration.
McMaster University will house a variety of sporting events, the opening ceremonies, as well as serve as the home for the Artist and Athlete Village. Various spaces across campus have been reserved for artists and athletes to relax, socialize, enjoy meals together, and utilize various amenities.
The following events will be held at McMaster University: badminton, chess, squash, soccer, swimming, table tennis, throwball, track and field (except long and triple jump) and wrestling.

Mohawk College's main Fennell campus, close to the heart of Hamilton, will host the basketball and performing arts events. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with a diverse range of artistic performances, exhibitions, and creative showcases that are guaranteed to captivate and inspire.

Hillfield Strathallan College, a short 10-minute shuttle from McMaster, will host both international and traditional volleyball, along with tennis, and specific track & field events (long jump and triple jump).

Established in 1962, Hidden Lake Golf Club is home to two exceptional, but very distinct, championship courses covering over 500 acres of picturesque Niagara Escarpment. Measuring 6,712 yards, the Old Course is very mature and features lush, tree-lined fairways and extremely small greens. At 6,743 yards, the New Course offeres large, undulating greens, more generous fairways and plenty of water.

Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, the new Confederation Park features a regulation-sized cricket pitch and 12 pickleball courts. The venue is a 24-minute shuttle ride from McMaster University.

With two full rinks and capacity for over 1600 spectators, the Chedoke Twin Pad Arena will serve as host for what surely will be a spectacular ball hockey tournament. Located 15-minute shuttle ride from McMaster University.

We want to make your festival experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Although most venues are situated near each other, shuttle buses will be continuously running between venues all weekend long.
Information regarding shuttle schedules and pick-up and drop-off points will be made available online at iicanada.org/illume or from the help desk volunteers stationed at each venue.
